IMHO, just a hate site by someone with an axe to grind against a car they don't own (anymore, supposedly). Not funny whatsoever.

The impala was/is a great large sedan. It has the LT1 which makes it tunable. This guy is obviously just trying to get publicity in a niche market of internet lurkers.

You say an Acura TL-S is faster than an Impala SS? I raced one on the freeway. He could barely keep
up with my supercharged CAPRICE!!! My car is stick w/the exhaust/CAI. You should KNOW better
than to use magazine 1/4 mile times!!! Hmm. $30k Acura + $2k-$4k supercharger = slow...

Chevy Impala? If the person who made that page thinks he can take them all, then he should try racing an Impala cop car... with several of the pursuit vehicles modded with Corvette engines, he'll get his butt kicked for sure.
