Full Size Spare Tire?
I know we don't have a full size spare in our trunk, just some crappy small one.
I was thinking, is there enough space back there for a fullsize spare? I am considering buying an extra rim/tire and replacing a scratched rim and putting the scratched rim in the trunk as a full size spare.
Enough space back there?

I am a member of the scratched rim club as well and would like to know if the full size spare idea would work?

One way to find out...just jack up your car, take off a wheel and put it in the trunk. It probably won't fit though.
Or, probably the easiest way, you could just measure the spare tire space in the trunk and compare with the stock rim dimensions.

I think the diameter of the opening is large enough for the full size tire to fit in there, but the width of the STD wheel would not allow the cover to be put back in place.
