Please list, for posterity, a few of the problems that your reseach has revealed. I would like to keep my eye out for them should they manifest themselves on my application?

As an alternative, and for AZine search purposes, is there a part number/price available for the Accord Silla radiator that you purchased?

to be honest i don't think silla is that great either but its cheap and it was local so i need it. but it was 73399AA

i was looking at mishimoto for an evo 7/8/9 and it seems like it might be a tight fit, but it had the center top hose and left bottom.

i did look into that one as well, supposedly they based it off the i4 accords. the bottom hose is connected on the right side (from the pictures i've seen), we need the bottom on the left.

it does look like a great fit but the height is almost 4 inches taller than ours... doesnt ours sit in the frame so that would mean that it would be 4 inches taller than the hood latch? im not sure someone verify for me... im am really interested cuz my cars been out for 5 months now with an overheated engine.. so this is right down my ally
also could the sti 01-07 work? the height is better but the thickness is huge
sry for length

Yeah, the stock part #'s:
01-TL=19010-P8E-A52
02-TLS=19010-PGE-A51
03-TLS=19010-PGE-A51

01-CLS=19010-PGE-A51
02-CLS=19010-PGE-A51
03-CLS=19010-PGE-A51
03-CLS6=19010-PJE-A51

Is there an extra coolant outlet somewhere on the bottom for the auto? Not sure how this would translate to an aftermarket radiator.

the 6 speed isn't different from what i can see. it has a bottom hose to the left and a top in the middle. then 1 coolant nub for the coolant hose overflow.

You can give Griffin a call and find out if they still have the measurements on file. They have no problem doing custom rads.

And I HATE CSF rads. I had 3 crack in two different cars.

I have had no problems with the CSF radiator running it with FI underhood temps. and the blistering FL heat. Time will tell.

Maybe it depends on size, but the custom rad I was getting for my Civic was under $500.

decent, if u're NA no point of doing a mod like this. if u're running an sc, should be suffice.

if you are anal about getting the best, this isn't for you.

it came in today, looks decent. same size as the stock one roughly. a little thicker (won't be any issues with fitment or s/c. there are larger radiators which fit... aka xlr8/griffin).

going to polish it before it goes in.

We can still have our radiator made. They are about $475 shipped to the cont US.

The radiator was a one row 1.5" core with 2.25" end tanks - all aluminum.

More cooling capacity. It shows up on multiple pulls when the coolant temp rises. The stock radiator can't keep up when doing multiple pulls back to back.
