Fuel Pressure gauge installation HELP!!
Fuel Pressure gauge installation HELP!!
I finally broke down and purchased an electric fuel pressure gauge and the custom dual pods...Thanks for the website Mr. Steve! Looks much better than that one-size-fits-all gauge pod I had before.
Anyway, I need to 'T' into the fuel line and was just wondering where the best place to do this is... I was thinking I could place a 'T' directly onto the FPR and keep the braided fuel line connected on the other end. Any suggestions?

There are two says to do this:
(1) Get a fitting that will 'T' into the -6 AN hose-fitting that goes to the FPR.
(2) You can remove the fuel pulsation dampener (looks like a mushroom with a clear plastic cup on that same piece where the inlet fuel hose goes) and replace it with a fuel-pressure guage fitting.
I did (2) and also feed my secondary injector that way.

Yeah, I should have asked before making one.

I've walked around my car a few times to see how visible the gauges are from the outside and it isn't actually all that obvious. At night, however, they are illuminated so it becomes more noticable.

Maybe when you do the HBP you'll go for it
