Fuel Adjustment leaning 5500 to 6500 rpms

Guys,

I was just looking at one of my dyno with AIR/FUEL ratios graph. You can clearly see that there is significant increase of Fuel between 5500 to 6500 rpms. I think this by design is to protect the engine once the hot-cam of VTEC is engaged.

Do you think a correcting map to adjust the this dip and having the A/F ratio around 13.75 will help improve performance?

Thanks,

Here is the dyno graph

Correct me if I'm wrong Nashua .. but isnt this what the unichip is going to do? improve air\fuel, specifically in VTEC, and advance timing

We aren't going to be able to tell until we can start strapping them on the dyno. It will be pretty easy to tell what the Uni-Chip does to the A/F ratio. Run 2 runs with out the chip plugged in. Plug the chip in, let the car idle for a few minutes and do 2 more runs.

You are most likely correct that this is by design. But leaning it out won't have much of an effect in the range that you are working in. I tried this on a NA TL-S and the power really didn't change.
