i see alot of pics of cars on here that dont have the front bracket or plates...i have to say i like the look...isnt that illegal however??? im pretty sure you have to have a front plate in all 50 states...anyhow, id be willing to take it off but the damn thing is screwed right through the bumper leaving 2 nasty holes!! did you guys get them repaired or something??? whats the deal???

 

are you sure there are holes drilled in your bumper? cuz that's not factory spec yo.

 

the fucker is drilled DIRECTLY into the front fascia of the car!! and then 2 screws below as well that you cant see which wouldnt be a big deal.

 

i know it sucks..that is why i took it off since the day i bought my cls....no drill on the front bumper..if u are drilled.that means your dealer is stupid ...damage your car...

 

did you buy new? i'm assuming not. the bottom 2 screws should be the only ones.

 

ITS BRAND SPANKIN NEW!!! ive had it 2 weeks..2002 CL-S black on black...with 2 NICE DRILL HOLES IN THE FASCIA!! can i bitch to the dealer and make them fix it because they shouldnt have done that??

yah it is a law and i got pull over once in about 7 years.i told police the plate is in the trunk..they let go of me and asked me to put in on asap...and most of my friends in wa state do not have a front plates on...besides i am driving a canada liscense plate in seattle....so..
