Freaking noise from the driver's seat when sliding back
A new freaking high pitch noise started to show up when get the driver's seat to go back all the way. Temp is around 15, the sound is like a high pitch motor noise, as if the the seat motor is struggling big time....
Why this noise came from no where?
Any ideas what is a quick fix?

Is the seat going all the way back normally, aside from the noise? Or does it go back slower than normal now? If it's just a noise, then I'm sure some WD40 would do the trick as it's most likely just some kind of unusual rubbing occurring on the metal rails that guide the seat. But if it's more than just a noise, it could very well be that the seat motor is dying on you. If that were the case, then just bring it in to your dealer to have it replaced under warranty.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I had a similar problem a while back with my driver's seat as well and just put some WD40 on the rail. All is well now.
