Any auto parts store will carry aftermarket PIAA bulbs that will be brighter and look better in the housing for our parking lights (fog lamps). I went with these, they work great and are pretty cheap:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-White-9-LED-...item3cad3dbf4d

Not that exact buyer, but if you hunt around you can pick up a pair for like 10 bucks or so. If you want a good set, maybe 20. I got mine from a former member and love them! Match HID color and are bright!

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...t&ListAll=Part

Part #
33901-S3M-A02

About halfway down the page in the middle you'll see ' LIGHT UNIT, R. ACCESSORY

Just go to your acura/honda dealer and give them the part number or have them look it up. They should pricematch the part for ya. My dealer did!

Hey Dave586270 Have you tried the LED lights instead of the HID fogs they actually look really good. I had to put in blue ones because thats all they had but when they get the white ones in i am going to switch to them. I will take a picture tonight and upload it so you can see how they look.

OP, the fog lights on our cars aren't really called fog lights. They are running lamps. They do absolutely nothing but show more light on the car and are not true fog lights. I took them off my car and just had the '03 inserts put in. It looked a hell of a lot better IMO.

Im going to guess that ebay (no name) bulbs are going to have questionable longevity.

I have had the same set in my car for a couple months now with no problems. Plus the cost off-sets how long they last. Can buy a couple sets for the cost of the others.

What part(s) were melting just the harness or other structural part(s) of the Lamp housing?

from the looks of it when i took it apart it was just the housing above the bulb, so i took a dremil and cut away some of the material and now no problems.. i did notice water in there after a touch free car wash so i drilled a small 1/8" hole in the bottom corner. then no water problems

Polarg P6 bulbs are the way to go short of custom IMHO. Tried pias but I feel the polarg match the hid's best.
