Fixed The Damn Spoiler Buzz Rattle

So I installed a nice amp and 12inch sub the other week, sounds great inside except for the rattle in the 3rd break light, rear deck, both doors, and who knows where else. Outside, wasn't too bad except for the damned rattle from the spoiler. Thought it was the light in the spoiler but wasn't, it came from within the damned thing.

I've read quite a few posts about the same problem so i thought I would put up my solution to the problem.

If you take out the two screws that hold the light to the spoiler and pull the light out, you will see a decent sized rectangular hole that opens up to the hollow of ths spoiler. i bought some "Great Stuff" window and door insulating foam sealant from home depot for like 6 bucks and filled the entire spoiler with foam, just kept on spraying to each side until there was over fill coming out the hole.

This stuff is pretty messy and is a pain to get off your hands, still there after two days. I used 3M rubbing compound to get the over spill off the rest of the car. Worked like a charm.

After waiting 8 hours like it says to on the directions I turned up the bass and nothing from the spoiler!!!! Needless to say i had a boner, almost as big as after instaling my AEM CAI earlier today.

Now it's off to foam every single panel, deck, whatever inside the car.
