I should be gettin my car back tomorrow. Acura has had my car for a month and a half. My SRS light came on and wouldn't shut off, so i took it to them and they said the part they needed was on backorder. So i got an 02 tl and ive been waitin all this time. has the dealer ever had any of your cars for this long? I don't mind much cause im savin alot of miles (since im already WAYYY over on my cl) Just thought id share the good news and i was wonderin if anyone has ever had their car in the shop for this long.... i dunno why it took so long but what can you do

I can't see why that should happen. you'd think they'd grab a part off of a car in an overstock lot, or even a wreck, to get you back in your car. YMMV

 

i heard if the dealer keeps your car over a month for a repair, you can get it to be considered a lemon...i'm not to sure about this....but i definately heard something like that...

my srs light wouldn't go off. They reset it, and ordered the part, and i kept driving it until the part came in.

No reason for them to keep it that long. I bet they've been driving it!

My 3.0 CL has been at Sussman's collision center for over a month (they told me it would take about a week). And on top of that, I don't have a good rental....I have a shitty galant.
