yeah, make sure that there are no scratches on your car and make sure that the sunroof doesn't squeek!...and ummm, if you want the front license plates off, take them off as soon as you can or else you'll end up with lots of lil chips and crap like that.

Did i forget anything?

Call up the dealer as soon as you read this and tell them not to put any extra screws through the front of your plate. Some dealers do this, and your car looks like shit when you try and take the front plate off. While you're at it, make sure they dont tag your car with any adverts ... hehe

Check the door, hood, and grill alignment. Some have reported uneven gaps in those areas. Check the manufacture date on the driver door metal plate. If early or mid 2000 ask for all the service bulletins. Main one is to stop the sunroof booming noise that occurred at 30MPH with the sunroof open and windows closed. Mine had a problem with the molding around the rear windows on the inside.

Number one rule in my book...no matter when the car comes in, go watch it being pulled off the truck. I was driving by my dealer at 4:30 am and this little punk was driving the cars off like he was Bo or Luke Duke. You'll never see the scratches or think to look until it is too late. Just my two cents worth...

Connecticut law requires 2 license plates, so don't worry too much about the front plate frame unless you plan on breaking the law ......

Take it for a quick drive to check for rattles, etc. You can also follow this link which has all of the CL Service bulletins. Make sure your car has none of these problems (rattles, sunroof squeek, etc) by printing this up and bringing it with you!

I agree with fbazakos, MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO HOLES IN THE FRONT! I think the car looks much more agressive without the license plate, but that is just my opinion. I say it's worth breaking the law over!

A few people(including myself) have had the unfortunate circumstance of getting their Type-S stolen. If you don't want this to happen, and in the process have your paint scratched, you should consider removing it yourself with some dental floss and a hair dryer.

In my case, the top curve of the S broke off since the double-sided tape was more concentrated in the centre of the badge. Some idiot tried to rip it off by hand, so I was lucky not to get any scratches.
