Fellow Zaino nuts - Do you WAX the Glass ???
I haven’t done anything to the glass yet because I had been waiting for the tint to go on and my stickers to be applied.
That’s all done now so I need to start treating the GLASS so I get some BEAD action when it rains.
Previously, I have used Rain-X on the glass and was fairly satisfied with the results.
I Zaino the headlights & Taillights whenever I do the car and the bugs wipe right off.
Should I “Z” the Glass too or is this a bad idea ???

Where is my super sauce?
Zaino's OK for the headlight and tail-light lenses?
Do I do both z1 and z2 or just z2? What about the z6?
'Sounds like there's magic in that Zaino bottle!

And no need to worry about that “chalky” residue getting in the cracks like other wax products.
I don’t really hit it with Z-6, but definitely the Z-2 whenever I do the car.

Shawn, I use RainX on the front and rear windows. But I use Z2 on all the other windows and the sunroof. The stuff works great.
I also highly recommend claying your windshield. Removes all kind of gunk from it.

Here you go Shawn S. I got the small 8 oz bottles, fits right in your hand, spays onto the windshield and use other hand to wipe, and you're done.
Castrol SUPER CLEAN AccuVision
The one minute rain repellant!
When it comes to wet weather driving, Castrol wants you to commit all the time you need to make your car safer.
Got a minute?
Because with Castrol AccuVision, one minute is all you'll need to increase your wet weather visibility up to 40%.
In wet weather, dangers are harder to recognize. Don't risk running a Stop sign or railroad crossing, or passing a stopped school bus, because you couldn't see through a wet windshield. Simply spray AccuVision on your windshield and wipe dry…that's it! AccuVision's advanced technology utilizes unique surface molecular ingredients to repel rain, sleet and snow with just the wipe of a hand, all in one minute!
And AccuVision is quicker and easier to apply than rain-x®*. So why spend all that extra time and elbow grease applying a rain repellant, when AccuVision gets the job done in sixty seconds?
So, to improve your wet weather visibility and recognize dangers sooner, try Castrol AccuVision. It's available in 4 oz., 8 oz. and 18 oz. bottles.

thats it! AccuVIsion, not clear-vu! doh! musta been thinkin contact lenses or some shit.
umm... im not sure how long it lasts...
but it lasts... without streaks. Zaino can very easily streak up your windows... not a big deal.... until your driving into the setting sun!!!
So uhh, ya this stuff is coo, spray on wipe off. real simple...
My windows are badly in need of some loving, but i need to get new wipers & polish the glass. shit is all pitted.

When I wax my cars, I use the residue remaining in the pads and towels to do the windows. The tinted windows really shine with the wax. Its time consuming but I think the shine is well worth it.

There may be some light smear issue with using Z2 on the glass, however...
It does protect the glass against minor rock hits (and I'm not talking about baseball sized rocks or meteorites).
I have had more than a few encounters with pencil head sized rocks hitting the glass, and the thick coat of Zaino makes the hit look like a ballistics test (or like a bug hit). The Zaino turns a bit "cloudy" around the hit, but when I've cleaned the Zaino off, the glass was afforded a bit of protection (a tiny scratch beats a BB sized hole).
AS to how much, such is the stuff of quibbling. I do know that Rain-X (a favorite in my pre-Zaino days) doesn't do shit for sand hits to the glass...)
