FEELER: Carbon Fiber Grill & Clear Diffusers?

Hey guys,

I'm back with more ideas. I probably should have let Excelerate post this, but I seem to be his guinea pig for all his projects. I wanted to get an idea if anyone else was interested as well.

#1: Carbon Fiber Grill - it would be the surround, in 2001 it was always chrome, in 02-03 it wad color matched to the car, would anyone be interested in carbon fiber surround?

#2: Clear diffusers - these were being made and then stopped, whats the interested like?

I'm all for clear diffusers. Anyway to make them semi-affordable, though? (Less than $80 a pop).

I said no to both, but I think if the Carbon grille looked decent to match with the CF hood and trunk I'd say yes.

possible. i have a CF Hood so i was just going to do a one-off grill for myself, but figured if a few people wanted it, we could get a better price.

yup... the CF grill should only look good with a cf hood... so there might not be much interest there.

but clear diffusers FTW! are the cl and tl ones the same (2nd gen both)

it is not needed. i think a diffuser filter the light and acts as a reflector. You'll want a diffuser, trust me. it'll look weird + it'll be too bright (from pictures i've seen).

I'm all for a Carbon Fiber Grille, that is completely open without the Acura emblem in the center, and with a mesh pattern in the back.
