Great color, just want something different next time.

If I had taken a better look at Nighthawk Black, I would not be driving Silver.

I used to think that way, but it's invaluable on a long trip or when you're in a town you're not really familiar with. I love it on my G, I wish I would have gotten it on my CLS back in '01.

or you could just buy another Acura because thats all you ever buy!!!

dude, for whatever reason, you swing from Acura's nuts. hell, youd probably buy a steaming pile of shit if it had a GOLD ACURA EMBLEM stuck in it!! lol!!!

no car is perfect, of course, but Acura is still far from the top. the new TL is sweet, a major step up. the new RL looks promising, but the CL is really nothing to call home about. its a discontinued, poor selling, bland FWD car. how is it that you never ever once have anything negative to say about it? you know your car has rattles whether you admit or not, you know you have envy for cars like the new BMW 6 coupe, come on now, dont kid yourself, the CL-S isnt all that. dont get me wrong, i had one and had ALOT of fun with it it never really treated me wrong, but looking back, and comparing it to the calibur of my A6, wow.....i was kidding myself to think that the CL was even remotely a luxury car. interior, exterior, twin turbo engine, quattro, there is not one thing the CL has that is superior besides the navigation system.

for me, i just bought my audi, so in doing so, these are the "features" i have avoided that the CL-S DID have:

-FWD
-annoying, persitant and obnoxious rattles
-decent....but still plasticy interior
-bland styling
-lack of low end torque
-exploding transmissions
-cheap leather
-lack of sufficient sound deadening material
-lack of decent information center (i.e. real time mpg, compass, etc)

You’re talking out your ASS again Jim.
I’ve been honest about the minor problems I’ve had with my car.
The great service I got from Lehigh Valley and Park Avenue Acura took care of them all.
My volume control and SubWoofers take care of the rattles.

And you can’t compare the CL to the USED Audi that you bought.
If it were NEW you wouldn’t have the same car payment.
When you buy a 2-3 year old car you never know its complete history.
Like the true reason why your entire front end is being repaired for you right now.

And the BMW 645 is nearly THREE TIMES the cost of the CL-S so of course I’m gonna drool over it.

At least he enjoys what he owns and is not losing his ass trading in vehicles and rolling over negative equity. I hope you're content with the A6.

NO, I haven’t seen the 645ci in person yet. I’m afraid to test drive it for fear of my bank account.
They did send me a nice colorful brochure in the mail yesterday.
Somebody at the local Bimmer store must troll here.

And BTW……The vehicle that shares my garage is the TOYOTA that’s driven by the wife.

Well I think you have to put the ownership experience of this car in perspective. You can't say you went into this buying a Ferrari and ended up with a Toyota Echo!

How may true sports cars are there out there that are FWD?

Look at the whole picture: this car is one hell of a 'bang for the buck'.

Quite frankly I wonder how many of the repeated problems (tranny, etc) are related more to beating the hell out of the car or not doing all of the recommended maintenance? I've had one tranny replaced but feel totaly comforatble with the car (with the extended tranny warranty).

I also own a VW and that thing gives me one headache after another--and the service experience sux on that car!
But the problems I have with the VW are common to other German cars (electrical etc).

Just remember 9 times out of 10 the grass is not always greener on the other side!
