feasibility of converting interior from tan to black

Depending on the cost, and ability to locate the parts. I should probably make a list of everything I would need first, and go from there. Just toying with the idea.
Feel free to persuade, or dissuade this idea.

Seems like a lot of parts and a major PITA.

How much are you looking to spend?

I always wanted the tan interior. Hell why don't we just trade, haha!

Where is your lacation? I have an 01-03 Acura CL-S w/ Tan-Taupe interior & would love to do a straight up trade for Black if your interior is in good condition. Let me know seriously......it would save us both time and money if you are willing to make a trip.

This has been brought up before over the years. It doesn't make sense $$ wise.
Too many parts & time.

Of course if you can & are willing to do it then go ahead. It can be done.

Lindenhurst huh? I'm in Libertyville. Not far at all, I also have a lot of free time on my hands, which is why I'm proposing this idea.

I don't know why people buy cars that they don't like...

If you hate the interior that much, why'd you buy the car in the first place ??

Werd. I can see not liking some smaller stuff (like I would rather have the bowling ball trim then wood) but if the interior color isn't your thing then why would you spend thousands on something you don't care for?

Everything is feasible if you've got enough money and time... Buy a totaled out CL and go to town...

But it would have been alot easier to just buy a car with a black interior to being with...

It's like wanting a 6spd, but buying an auto, and seeing how "feasible" it is to convert.... Sure you can convert it, but it doesn't make much sense...

No kidding! Damn you are close. Well the only thing I'm worried about is all the trim. I mean i have black leather and black trip (plastic and panels). With your tan interior is all the trim and panels tan as well? We'll have to meet up and throw some ideas back and forth.

And the dash... that's the biggest issue...

It's a lot of work even without having to deal with the dash... dash seems to be a deal breaker...

On the accords, the dash is black on both the tan and black interior cars...

That's one reason why I bought the CL... I wanted a tan dash AND tan interior... 2002 and new gen 2003 Accords had black dashes only... even on the tan interiors...
