Let me guess this time... tell me if I am right.... The little kid next door was throwing football and hit your scooter which in turn fell over and the handle bars ripped up your bumper...??

uh huh...parked it in the street for a total of 10 minutes when the husband neighbor rings the bell, tells me to take some deep breaths (cuz the whole block knows bout me and my car), then tells me the wife neighbor backed into me...i was like how can u back into a 16 foot long red car and not see it??...he was like "she had balloons in the car for our son's 5th b-day party she was on her way to, and she couldn't see"...so i was like whatever about it...went over to the car, saw the damage, cleaned it up a lil...heard every other sentence "i'm so sorry" followed by the "i'll give u a blank check so just lemme know how much the repair is" which was nice...wife neighbor came over later and repeated the "im sorry" routine

coulda been MUCH worse tho...coulda dented the sheetmetal or the bumper...this can b sanded down and just have the cover repainted...hope no blending is necessary

Update: estimate came in...$511.80

which includes demounting bumper cover, sanding the whole thing, and repainting using a special clearcoat...if i didn't want it demounted, it woulda been $350, but i don't want peeling in the nooks and crannies...and don't ferget about the below pic which if i kept the bumper on, wouldn't get painted...besides, i got a blank check ...car goes in Tuesday morn and will b without her til Wed evenin

Similar thing happened to my wife's former red volvo she had parked at work. I said how the hell could someone hit a red car. Dumb wife told her coworker (she hit the car) what I said. So I call up to speak to my wife and this woman answers the phone and after realizing who I was said, "Do you know who I am? I'm the stupid whore who hit your wifes car". Then transfers the call.
I didn't appologize or anything because...well, it was true.

My son and daughter-in-law are both physiologists (Houston), but so far appear to be well grounded (maybe because both their fathers are engineers)?

Mother's is good stuff. I use it between coats of Z.

Either that or some SOS pads and kerosene.

Scooter…..You can stop over and give the wife’s RAV4 a few coats if you’re afraid you’ll get out of practice going without for 30-days.

well she's all done...looks great, PLUS, since i had the bumper removed, it was realigned PERFECTLY flush against the rear quarter panels/fenders, so there r no more edges that stick out like next to the brake light/signal housings!!!

a few others since i was trigger happy

right...i'm just up in the air on what car wash to use...some people say the Z7 isn't concentrated enough with Z2 polishes to warrant any risk

i got an ample supply of Meguiar's Gold Class car wash in the garage...i may just have to use that and Z on top
