You go to court to dispute your tickets right?!
when you go to the traffic courts you can dispute it there on the spot, saying that this vehicle is invalid.

it doesn't work like that, atleast not here. I've had errors on a ticket before and taken it to court. It gets corrected.

Yeah, but his error was kinda big. I mean the cop accused him of speeding in a totally different make and model! I believe him.

On the ticket he writes " Honda Accord"

I guess the jdm looking "Inspire" emblem that you guys mock me so much of helped out with a good portion of that.
I don't buy it - 160 in a 50 zone. Instant dangerous driving charge and a good chance you get your license taken away on the spot. if you didn't, you should (50 kph zones are generally residential areas)

As for the car - I love the six speed; it's the nicest shifting car I've ever owned.

I love the look of the exterior and the interior (esp. w/ Navi) is one of the nicest looking interiors around - mine has the dark interior and that black "wood" trim is just beautiful. Also the gauges are very cool looking in that graphite color. The exterior is very simple and just looks right. No offense to the owners of first gen CL's, but I think those are fugly.

I love that it's absolutely loaded, even simple stuff like the garage door buttons are so handy. The in-dash changer sounds great to me, though I added a sub to improve the bottom end but I like too much bass. Heated seats are great, auto-dimming mirror is handy, auto-tilting pass side mirror is a big help, SS trans is fun and is a wonderful compromise vs. a stick, Navi is fantastic - wish all of my cars had it, climate control works well, seats are great and they are beautiful....

Also, its pretty quick, especially if you use the right SS gear. Handling is good, but I bought mine used and it has tires that I wouldn't have chosen, so once those wear out, I'll get some grippier tires (like the Toyo T1-S, which we have on my wife's car).

Personally, I'm not going to mod this car much, if at all, as I have a sports car if I want to go fast. Therefore, it doesn't make a lot of sense to dump a big bunch of money in this car and potentially make it less reliable (or at the least, somewhat harder to troubleshoot).

Besides, I really like the wheels and its relatively quick as is. I wouldn't mind the exhaust being a touch louder, but I really should just let that be. Dropping it would look good, but this is my everyday car, so the practical aspects of dropping it probably outweight the handling and aesthetic benefits.

I'm a happy CL-S owner.

The sound of the engine, 260HP, hardly anyone has one (and I'm the only one in the city with the bodykit too), great for long trips...

Yep, have no regrets buying the CL-S...

Where on the actual ticket does it indicate the speed (the second note could have bee produced by an eight year old using MS Word). You live in a great province if doing 100 kph over equates to $138 - considering my last ticket was $190 for being 31 kph over the limit.

The ticket is real - that it was for doing 160/150 in a 30 zone is BS.

21 to 40 km/h over $196

Excessive Speeding - Section 148 MVA:

they didn't list the speed, I told them this was my first in 4 years of driving and they said they'd give me a break by giving me the smallest amount for speeding.
Plus on our tickets if you pay within like 14 days you get $25 off=) hahaha love it how it works here.

as for being produced. I can't do much more. I've scanned it and I have nothing more to prove. I could care less from this point on if you believed it or not. I just wanted to prove my point.

I too love the interior, the overall appearance of the car is also nice. I love that it's a respectable "import/jap car" and that it's a V6 honda. Screw the civic lovers! I have leather and heated seats be0tch! Definately love acuras, because they're more luxury than normal hondas.

Jealous non CL owners

I love my CL-s. get all sorts of compliments, can't beat the quality and styling and the uniqueness compared to all the (domestic crap) and I've owned everything from a Mustang Gt to a Grand Prix GTP, drove a 2004 mustang GT convertable last year, what a piece of plastic crap!!!, handled like school bus compared to the Acura. my worth.

only thing that impresses me is the motorized seat when folding down to let rear passengers in. It motorizes fully to the end to maximize space and then when u flip back it memories to last position.

Everything else, feels like my honda accord, maybe a lil more juice. But definitely not the cheap honda feeling.

EVERYTHING!!! I love the exterior styling especially from the side, I love the interior, love the NAVI, In-dash CD changer (drove my bros Jag this weekend ... changer in trunk, cold as ... ) auto-tilting side mirror (I never park front end in) auto dimming rear view mirror (for the losers who get lost in the dust and think they can high beam me), the sound of the engine when I touch the gas, the feeling of being squished to my chair when I touch the gas, the appearance of everyone in my rear view mirror slamming on their brakes when I touch the gas. Needless to say I love this car.

Just got mine 3 weeks ago with 24000kms. This car has the best shifting manual transmission I've ever driven, very rare because I've only seen automatics mostly middle aged males driving around in Vancouver.

Favorite thing(s).......CL-S

1-Exclusivity+Sundance Gold =1 of 900.......of course some people are glad only 900 were made in this color!!
2-Body stlye wears well over time.
3-Gas mileage vs. performance.....33mpg on open road + 260 hp, gotta love that.
4-Interior.....comfy, roomy, heated seats, lousy stereo <g>.

Draws looks when lowered and windows tinted, people try to figure out what you are.
Minor maintenance- oil, plugs, brakes, etc.- easy to do.
Easy to clean.
Outstanding gas mileage for a heavy, fast car on the highway.
And my insurance agent didn't bust me!!

Wow - you must be pretty heavy on the gas; I generally get 520 km to the tank ($1200 / year insurance).
