Favorite thing about your CL
Hey Guys,
Just wanted some input from you on what makes the CL the car it is. I am picking mine up in Mar so I am not sure yet but maybe you can give me some thoughts on why you love the CL so much.

Adventurist.
The great shifter makes it nice to drive. Plus the interior is very classy compared to similar cars in its line.
Plus, they are a rare find, I've been asked a few times at the gas station or stoplight, "What car is that?"

Favorite attribute about CL typeS
Damn thing is fast and you don't realize it. As other stated 249HP and stiff sport shocks and steering are standard. The thing flies. Was going 90mph the other day and didnt even realize it.

It's nice to hear all of the good things about the Acura Cl rather than negatives. I think the pros's of this car easily outweigh the negatives as long as you aren't beating the life out of it.

Classy interior and sporty exterior. Looks good all the time, and I shouldn't even have to mention that it's fast too.
Have you modded the suspension yet? If not, wait til you do that. It looks and handles so much better lowered.

I hand it to him, he writes me a ticket, as he's writing he walks to the back of my car and looks to see what it is.
On the ticket he writes " Honda Accord"
I look at it and drive off smiling.
My ticket got voided because of the incorrect vehicle, even though he could've just looked at my registration papers and it would have told him
I guess the jdm looking "Inspire" emblem that you guys mock me so much of helped out with a good portion of that.

I wouldnt have bought it if it didnt have the 6 speed, but I think its a pretty decent (albiet conservative) looking car. The interior is nice, and its nice to not see 10 of them on my drive to work (I used to own a 00 Taurus, they infect the Detroit area lol)
Not many cars can say they have 260hp, a LSD 6 speed tranny, ride nice, and are good in the winter.
I get people asking me all the time what kind of car it is, even car people dont know what it is. lol Most are very surprised when I tell them its 260hp, and only from a little V6.

- Refreshed 5AT and tran fluid every 40k;
- Frequent visits to the Acura dealer;
- Honda recalls;
- replaced leather covers and the accompanying smell of new leather;
- new friendships with the Acura service techs;
- test drive new TL's and RL's as loaner vehicles; and
- best of all, low resale value.

top speed is ~145
and 160 in a 50 = jail time

Anyway, I definitely like that I only see another CL maybe once a month, not many out there.
Oh and the power is surprising, seats fit me perfectly

Anyway, love the shape of our seats, and the way the long coupe stands when it is sitting low on my 19's...
