fastest production FWD car!!!
hey so i was randomly thinking bout anything faster than a stock CL-S with the Front Wheel Drive setup...and of course i mean a stock car that was mass produced. there has to be something quicker out of the showroom, but i cant think of it...
if theres nothing, it might be interesting to note that the CL-S is the fastest production FWD car! cuz we all know anything with more HP gets to be Rear Wheel Drive or AWD...
just a thought.
cant wait for this to be moved to another forum too.

ok there you go...man i couldnt think of anything! ok now i know we have the 2nd fastest FWD production car. lol. ok thanks...anybody got anything else?
and ill bring it up (somewhat related): i have a CL-P and with headers and intake, i have b/w 195HP and 200HP at the wheels. isnt that what the stock CL-S has? im curious if i've officially reached CL-S status...
i really could care less tho in the long run which is why i didnt make this into another thread...and also i ask no one try to add up $$$ and say i shoulda bought a CL-S from beginning b/c i promise you there were NO good low mileage ones at the time...but thanks for caring...

ok then i was wrong. i didnt know bout the mazdas but id argue the Cobalt and the SRT-4. the SRT-4 has "so much torque and lightwieght compared to ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!" wells thats the rumor. and in Car and Driver it might be faster, but in real life??
i know a guy who had one: good driver I PROMISE YOU!!! the guy could not connect the power b/c the damn thing was so light. lightweight and a lot of power does NOT!!!! = speed when it can't connect unlike our heavy cars.
but ok poiont taken...i was generally wrong. one thing we got that they dont: LUXURY!!

it might be worth it to compare manufacturer/models from the same model year, i.e. 2003 vs 2003 of each comparison. Comparing these new 07's vs. an 03 cls isn't really fair.
just imagine what a 2007 CL-S would bring to the table had it still been in production the last few years! I suspect 300hp+ along w/ AWD would be a fair guess.
drool, i need to stop daydreaming
