Fastest import Sat. night in Jacksonville

R/T...........591

60'..........2.190

330'..........5.773

1/8 ET..........8.684@84.42

*********************************
Justin had been the fastest import for most of the night Saturday and then a Supra(twin turboed) showed up. Everyone was saying he was out of it, he was even worrying a little. He lined up with the Supra, even though the guy did not want to. The guy and his girlfriend were laughing as if it was a waste of his time to race an Acura. Everyone was watching and could not believe what they saw. Justin ran his worst time of the night and still smoked him. I dont remember the exact times on that race but I know the Supra ran in the 9's. Bad driver Im sure but a win is a win no matter how you look at it. Needless to say, the Supra did not pull around to race again. He went home, still wondering what happened Im sure!

Justin is my bf, I am posting it because he does not get on here... I do. If I were to say.. " I ran an 8.8, etc... then you would assume it was a girl racing because of my screen name. He drives a 01 3.2 CLS with headers, intake, and an 80 shot. Sorry for the confusion.

OBX headers, CAI, and NOS dry kit, 80 shot. How helpful is the chip and what differences did you notice with it? Worth the money?

Okay, just let us know ahead of time and we will go. Did not plan on going for a few weeks but will if you are going. What mods do you have... you are getting that time without being SC'd or nitrous? That is damn good! How far are you from Gainseville?

When I use to race my mustang at Gainesville raceway, you use to see anything and everything there. No one talks about 8th mile times. My best 1/4 pass with the stang was 11.13 @125.41....Gotta love the v8 and the s/c!!

You are right, noone talks about the 1/8 mile because there are not alot of 1/8 mile tacks. But it is still fun, still seeing what your car can do, and still winning $50 (which you dont at Gainseville) if you win! Good time by the way on your Mustang.
