Extrude Honed for CLS Intake Manifold

1) Who has done it?
2) Any gains?
3) Worth the money and effort?

Extrudehone is usually the last thing done to cars...because the gains are dependent on how well the intake manifold is designed. It's basically smoothing out the intake runners on intake manifold. The cost starts at $1K for 4 cylinders. If you want some power....you want individual throttle bodies.

As soopa said yes I do have it.

1) HP gains vary quite a bit depending on what other mods your running. For a baseline with header and intake youll probably see along the order of 10-15. This also is dependent on how much surface is taken, whether they flow the entire assembly prior to and after and if it includes port matching etc...

2) Prices can range anywhere from 500 - 1500.

3) I thought it was worth it because of a contact i dealt with was able to help me out there. For most people it should be (as mentioned) one of the last mods to be done.. following headers, intake, exhaust, plugs, pulleys, torque converter, computer (timing, fuel trim, shift points, etc..) For the folks with just a CAI and or headers its def not worth the money and downtime.
