Extended warranty for CL-S drive train
Has anyone checked into getting an extended warranty for the drive train (to cover what appears to be a flaky tranny) for 100,000 miles? If so, what are they getting for it.

A lemon is a bad car (problems) in an otherwise pristine bunch. Doesn't sound like that applies to the CL tranny situation.
Of course your car may be a lemon, but it sounds to me like people are researching a chronic manufacturer's defect in an attempt to benefit all Acura owners. The discovery of a lemon rarely benefits the rest of us (but it could I guess in the long run).

Lemon Laws provide tremendous leverage to the individual owner in quickly redressing these types of problems with carmakers. What are you proposing: a class-action for breach of warranty? I'd rather get my money returned within 60 days and buy another ride rather than dragging the issue out for many years with uncertain results.
