Exploring the CL

I had a big day in my new CL yesterday. I finally gave it full throttle for the first time. Gosh darn car is pretty quick. Also, I stuck it in reverse and noticed the side-view mirrors tilt down to aim at the rear wheels. I plan to go a little more exploring in the car this weekend. I wonder what new discoveries I will find?

Isn't that the best feeling? I know I feel great when a couple of weeks/months down the road after getting a new car you find out something else it does. You should have seen my friends face when he found out the Jetta can open and close all windows with the key!!

See if you can find the glow-in-the-dark-emergency-trunk-release-which-also-works well-as-the-trunk-closer-handle.

No hints everyone!

Did you know that you have 10mins of power to close the windows and sunroof after you shut the ignition??

Someone else posted that the wiper speed varies with the speed of the car.

The motors on the windows and sunroof will still work unless someone opens a door. Then they shut off right away.

I thought I noticed the same thing on the wipers but I wasn't sure. I think in intermittent mode (where you twist the inner ring to vary the speed), it varies the speed of the wipers with the car's speed.

There is only one change in the wiper speed, I seem to remember it to be at about 20Mph the wipers work twice as often.

For the wiper speed, it does adjust itself somewhat with the speed of the car. This occurs when you set the intermittent delay just before the first notch. If it's set this way, the wiper slows down when you're at a stop, then picks up speed when you're moving again.

Mercedes Benz, eat your heart out!

The windows in my accord will go up and down as long as the dorr isn't opened. Must be universal with honda/acura.

Please have a crane drop on my car so I have to buy a new CL-S. But wait till I'm not in the car. Thanks
