Exhaust system help

I have a 03 cl type s 6 speed and i'm thinking of running 2 pipes from the catback into flowmaster exhaust tips 2.5 inch. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? What does your car have?

that's just going to add weight and you'll probably lose hp. You need to be running some good hp to benefit from duals (and those aren't even true duals).

A 2.5" bpipe after the cat would be fine for most ppl. Throw a high flow cat in there.

Not true. I saw a decent increase in power from running 2, 2.25 pipes from the cat back.

On a 3.2L? If it's just from the cat back, wouldn't it be better to just do a 3" to the split?

Yep, on the 3.2. I did it this way because i planned on making it true dual but never got around to it. I still plan on it now that im a 3.7 as soon as i make the Long tube headers.

thanks i was thinking of making true duals from the cat back and was wondering how that turned out so your advice was helpful
