Exhaust reality check...sound...not HP!!!

Don't wast your time on a good CAT back exhaust system as the factory did it for you. Unless your motor is wildly modified....you will spend alot of $$$ for a few ponies that you probably can't feel in a car of this weight.

So, simply put, buy an exhaust system or mufflers because its the sound you crave...not the power. If you want just the power...buy a header...this is the reality!!!

Probably not enough room under the chassis for two pipes going back?

Dude, chill out with the A-hole attitude.....if everyone knows this, why do I get called asking for this type of mod daily???? Are you the only smart one here? Many people on this site will get mis-led into dropping upto a grand for a system with big expectations only to loose their dough...if someone claims big exhaust gains-there full of shit...thats all!

There is a method to achieving this in tight spaces....Scorpion did it on the S4 with some success....but the gamble in engineering one will be the end result. On the Dynojet, a CL-S with the exhaust removed from the Cat back makes a whopping 5HP. So a good exhaust system could only hope to match this figure....is 5HP worth a G-note....I doubt it.

True dual? Have fun wiring two cats (and 4 Oxygen sensors) to the ECU and staying CARB Legal. I'll gladly hand you the 2 horses if you can pull it off.

The only reason to replace ours would be to save weight. They have titanium exhausts on the Z06 Vette. It is 44% lighter than Stainless Steel exhausts.

Mugen makes one for the S2000 for about $3000.00, saves 15 lbs, or $200 lb, I'd rather call Jenny Craig and pocket the difference.

Totally agree w/ you, if your trying to shave like 10 ~ 20 pounds on the car, it think its easier to just loose weight.

I only weight 125 so no problem for me. hehe.

I weight just under 145lbs. That makes me at least 15lbs lighter than the average driver right there. All set.
