i"m experiencing leakage on the stone headers . installed 5 weeks ago seemed to be leak free initially however i noticed some leakage noise the next week. i retorqued to spec all fasteners after 3+ weeks. the header flange to a-pipe joint was quite loose on the rear hdr. also 1 header to head bolt was 5-10 ft/lbs loose. now leak is less apparent however, still there. leak is in the rear bank area.
i'm concerned that the crush gasket may be damaged from the loose a-pipe connection or worse, cracked weld somewhere.
short of starting over, any suggestions on finding this leak.
