Exhaust CL-P/S different..................!
I was talking to WebToker about changing the exhaust system on the CLs, and I was wondering about this....
CLS has a better/high flow exhaust system.... But i wonder, where is it high flow at? The cat.? the piping? or mufflers? Cuz I raised both CLP and CLS up at the Acura Service Dept. I checked out both system, according to sizeing and stuff, they both look exactly the same.... cat size the same, mid-pipe diameter are the same, and mufflers look the same.....
So if CLS has a high-flow exhaust system, does that mean, if a CLP put the typeS exhasut on will have so-called 30% better flow? Cuz i was checking comptech, they only have axle-back which is the muffler section for both cars, so does that mean only the mufflers are different or what???
What do yall think? Thanks alot!

Yep, the 30% is in the exhaust. To prove it, I took one muffler off (half-time, UT-A&M game) and drove her around a little. Exhaust was still coming out of the one muffler, though one side was totally open.
Thinking about replacing whole muffler system. Hi-flo cat, to one Flo or stright-pipe muffler. I expirimented with the exhaust a little. I had Midas cut the resonator off and replace it with a straight pipe ($35 mistake, sounds strong, but like a little yip-yip at low rpm). I didn't buy an excellent Acura to make is sound like a little honda (diarrehea is what I call it, closest thing is sounds like).
Hollywood out.
