Even bimmer owners have gripes...

Question of the thread was "Would you buy another BMW?". A suprising amount of people said no. Whether you own a BMW, MB, Acura, whatever, seems the grass is always greener....

people should just keep bouncing from brand to brand until they end up in a gm or something...that way they get the low quality they expected.

Here's my gripe about BMW-I'd never buy one again from the dealer in Bflo that I bought our 330 from. I told the sales mgr that too (who happens to be one of my brother's best friends). He said "I'll make it up to you on your next purchase." I said, "There won't be a 'next purchase." I'll go anywhere to buy other than from Towne BMW, anywhere.

I know my old 5 series was one of the last truly "bulletproof" cars bmw built, but I would buy another one if/when I can afford it. They are still great cars hands down. Assuming they dont destory the styling. If what ive seen is true then new 5 series is fugly. The current 5 series is true beauty. my friend has the 540 6spd, gorgeous.

I also love the new 7 series, but I wish is had an option for manual like the old 7 series did.

Another person over glorifying something... <YAWN> :P

Yes, EVERY manufacturer has vehicle problems. And yes, everyone has complaints for all vehicles. Thanks for reminding us.

People here are complaining about Honda ignoring the problems. BMW DOES RECALLS AND FIXES! People just don't like paying for things that are broken/don't work. At least BMW addresses issues directly.

Why does the moon-roof STILL squeak on the 02-03 CLS.
Why do 02-03 transmissions still FALL apart
Why does the REAR deck still rattle on 02-03 CLS
Why does pain chip on the 02-03 CLS
Why do the rotors STILL WARP on 02-03 CLS

Want me to keep going? Were they unable to fix this in 2 years? gimme a break.

Honda is cheap and conservative. They do not address issues like BMW or MB is what people are saying. Not that they believe MB and BMW are flawless vehicles

I think everyone is aware that things made by humans have flaws. Until my car is produced by nanomachines, it's not going to get any better.

However how the manufacturer handles the situation is another story. Honda/Acura igrnoes things until they are bad enough they *have* to address them.

And don't even strart with the M3 engine, thats only 1 problem. And they did address it by admitting fault. And have worked to correct it. Too bad some shady dealerships didn't treat the customer nice. But once again, thats not the company as awhole. Lots of good and bad dealers everywhere for all types of cars.
