Enjoying my 2001 CL-S
Hello to all, I am new to this forum.
I purchased a 2001 CL-S 4 months ago for $15,500 from a used car dealer outside of Los Angeles. It is almost new and only had 29,800 miles at the time of purchase. It is now up to 33,825, which means I average about 1,000 miles per month. I guess this isn't bad for California. I have taken it to Acura to be serviced and had the transmission inspection done. So far so good. I have had no problems so far. Glendale Acura has been very supportive and they said that I'm covered up to 100,000 on the engine/transmission, and to let them know if I experience any problems with the tranny at any time. I must say, this car is pretty fast to weigh 3500lbs! Man was I surprised with the handling and braking. It feels like you are in a much smaller car. Anyway, I just thought that I would post my experiences with my 01 so far.
Thanks,
Reg

I bought mine in June '05... Been loving it ever since... Good to hear that you're having fun with it but you're not driving it enough...
bought mine with 37k it now has 50k on it... No problems yet either, had the rotors replaced to Rotora Slotted Rotors and Axxis Ultimate Pads, braking much nicer now...
