Email from Acura regarding transmissions

I wrote an email through www.acura.com, here is the response I got.

Dear xxx xxx:

Thank you for your recent e-mail contact with Acura Client Services
regarding your concern with the transmission in your 2001 Acura CL Type-S.

Unfortunately, we do not have specific information on the updated
remanufactured transmissions. However, Honda Engineers have identified the
root of the problems and have made changes to questionable components of
the transmission. These transmissions are of the highest possible quality,
built and tested by Honda before shipment to the dealer.

If you are experiencing problems with your vehicle, please contact your
local dealer for inspection. Acura Client Services is not in a position to
determine the diagnosis of your vehicle. We rely on the Acura dealers to make the diagnosis.

You will be notified by mail if your vehicle is eligible to receive a
warranty extension for the transmission. This means that mailings will
only be sent to those with affected Acura vehicles according to the vehicle
identification numbers. At this time, there is no time frame for the
release of a warranty extension.

A copy of your E-mail is on file at Acura Client Services. If you have any
further questions, please feel free to contact Acura Client Services at
(800) 382-2238.

Thank you again for contacting us and for giving us the opportunity to
respond to your query.

Best Regards,

G. Mariano

Email says that letters will be sent based on VIN numbers... I wonder whether ALL 2001-2002 CLS will get this letter.... Could there be any exclusions in 2001-2002??? I doubt, cause it affects all cars made in 2001-2002
