Yes. Personally I reset my ecu at the track, and did some runs before and after. No noticeable time improvements.

The easiest way on the CL-S is to remove the cover on the battery, and disconnect the red wire for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes put the red wire back on, and start the ignition. Do not press the gas. Let the car run for about 15 minutes at idle, and then close the ignition. After that you should be all set.

Did you let it idle for 10-15 minutes? Its very important that you let it idle for a good amount of time.

Are you sure about removing the POSITIVE side? I alwasy heard the NEGATIVE side. Too many sparks and chance of explosion with removal of the positive (red) side.

What if you disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes then restart the car, but dont let it just idle for 10-15 min. Will the ecu not reset? I disconnected the battery when I installed my plugs and CAI, but I dont think I ever let it idle(didnt know I was supposed to). Maybe Ill go disconnect and reset it again...

Yes the ECU Reset..but you did not give it ample time to adjust fuel/air ratio. Just disconnect again..and let it idel for 10-15minutes.

spiroh, are you sure ours cars don't constantly monitor that anyway? I am pretty sure that todays cars are always adjusting the mixture based on the what they are reading. i.e. higher altitudes, less O2...
I could be completely wrong

the proper way to reset the ECU (PCM) is to pull fuse # 13, clock/backup fuse (7.5A) from the passengers fuse box for 10 seconds
you dont have to let it idle at all
OR...you can use the honda diagnostic OBD tool...but i doubt anyone has it
