E3 Sparkplugs: Supercharged CL-S

I have an 03 CLS with a Supercharger w/83k. I am getting the timingbelt, waterpump, and valves adjusted/replaced at one time. I was considering trying E3 plugs instead of the iridiums. Has anyone used E3 plugs in their car?

Unfortunately, I am getting all this done at one time since I over-revved the engine last night and I think an exhaust valve or valves is bent.

Any insight on the spark plugs is appreciated.

NGK or Denso plugs are really the only ones that work in our cars and last
you can get colder range ones in them too for the S/C

and if you are rebulding the motor anyways you should do a 3.6 stroker (i wish i had a legitamite reason to rebuild my motor and be able to stroke it) with the S/C and maybe get a bigger S/C

Horsepower TV tested them. They showed a 4HP gain with a couple FT-LBS TQ gained too along with cutting some emissions levels in half. They also got a bit more MPG.

I'd be interested if they worked in our vehicles. I need to replace mine soon.

i say they are just more junk, our engines are designed for a certain type of plug.

i get 50 cents for each one i sell at work and i don't even sell them to people. but maybe im wrong?

A colder plug serves a purpose in a boosted aplication,so I disagree with zex plugs being novelty. For a everyday N/A with no spray then yes I agree.

One of 3G TL members, and my friend, put them on his car and it blew out one of the coil packs. They did pay for the repair but maybe they arent good for our cars cause of the coil packs.

Well... I have one bent exhaust valve, and a piston that is fried. The car is at the shop, and they will let me know if the heads are in good shape and can be reused. I am trying to decide if I should install OEM components and bring the motor to the stock configuration or go another route and still keep the supercharger.

The car is supercharged, so I if anything it will be a project to make the motor displacement larger.
