I made a bunch of driving CDs for when I used to go "hunting" in the Z28.
All kinds of stuff from "Panama" by Van Halen to "Kickstart My Heart" by Motley Crue.
Mostly early 90s rock songs, some more recent stuff like "Staring at the Sun" by Offspring and "Fuel" by Metallica.
Even stuff like "Interstate Love Song" by StoneTemplePilots makes me want to drive fast.
Or "Everlong" by Foo Fighters, "Machinehead" by Bush, or "40oz. To Freedom" by Sublime.
For a more classic sound to cruise to, maybe "409" or "Little Duece Coupe" by the Beach Boys or "Little GTO" by Jan & Dean.
Or if you want the hiphop try "Number One Stunna", "Rover Truck", or "Millionaire Dream" by Big Tymers/Cash Money for that bling-blingin' slow ride through town on twankies with the bass kickin'.
It all depends on your mood. I like all kinds of music so I just have different CDs for different moods.

Oh you want more bling-blinging stuffs?
Just about anything by Big Tymers/Hot Boys/ Cash Money/Juvenile will do ya, playboy.
If you like techno/trance/ambient at all, BT is one of the greatest. (His name's Brian Transceau but his artist name is simply "BT").
Try Napstering for his stuff.
Two of my favorites are "Flaming June" and "Godspeed" and each have several remix versions available. Hell, I even have a CDR with mostly just remixes of those two songs (and some ATB thrown in to break it up a little).
Sometimes a little trance/ambient techno is just the stuff to make a long ride disappear.
Search for BT, ATB, Alice DeeJay, Prodigy, Robert Miles, and Aphrodite. Those are my favorites when it comes to techno and its subgenres.
-J
edit - btw, if you have trouble finding stuff on Napster, there are other programs out there that are pretty good. Start with Napigator - it uses Napster and just adds a ton of new servers to login to that aren't affected by the blocks.
Kazaa is also a pretty decent program.
EDonkey2000 is also good.
And if you still can't find anything and live in Maryland, let me know and maybe I can make you a CDR with some tracks on it for you that you can "preview for no more than 24hours".

Heh, I was going to say Disturbed also. 'Voices' is another good song by them for fast driving.
Other's that I like...
Megadeth - Reckoning Day
KMFDM - Ultra
Joe Satriani - Summer Song (aptly named, great for cruising with the windows & sunroof open)
Anthrax - Random Acts of Senseless Violence

Crystal Method's "Vegas" album is pretty good and so are "Exit Planet Dust" and "Dig Your Own Hole" by Chemical Brothers.

My almost 4 year old loves "who let the dogs out".
When I pick him up from school, he tells me to play that song, really loud, and spin the tires as we leave the parking lot. (now you know who named my car)
Makes the other dads jealous as they arrive in their mini-vans.
Definitely a guy thing
Are there still sites left you can download music from? Email me, thanks!

My post didn't stick last night. It should have been around #3. Anyway, download "Spybreak" by the Propellerheads. Very cool soundtrack for driving fast. It will make you want to weave in and out of traffic at very high speeds. (Also, "Her Majesty's Secret Service" by same.)

Cost Drivers!!!!
Classical music is great cause the sound system isn't half bad for that kind of stuff.
Metallica's And Justice For All......difficult to get harder and faster than that. Good for driving when you are late and need to push the car a bit
Creedance Clearwater Revival......awesome for LOOOOONG drives.
