O.K. I'm not a big hip hop/rap guru, but A Tribe Called Quest's "The Love Movement" sounds fantastic in this car! Otherwise, the Samshing Pumpkins new one sounds great...And for those occasions when a chick co-pilots, its gotta be Sting's Greatest Hits.

For new stuff check out Sammy Hagar "Let Sally Drive" on new release Ten13; New Rock song that sounds great on the CL-S stereo. Remember the Lynard Skinard line "Turn it up". For oldies I like Led Zep and Foghat. Some of their songs will get me speeding well over the limits. And no there's no smoking anything in my car.

Is there anyone else like me who hasn't set your radio preset stations yet and never has listened to the radio? I've had my CL-S for over a month and haven't done either. I just always listen to CDs. Most of what is on the radio around here is crap anyway.

For long cruises, Dire Straits "On Every Street" and "Brothers In Arms". Also Lindsey Buckingham and Sting. Then when we get way out west, we load in Marty Robbins' "Gunfighter Ballads"...........how's that for nostalgia?

Music ... let's try 3 Doors Down, Foo Fighters, Lynard Skynard (Free Bird of course), Santana (Smooth), and a little Southern Rock like Molly Hatchet or 38 Special.

The only music ever played in my CL-S is Classic Rock and Oldies. I can't stand any of the new stuff out these days, especially C&W and RAP!

Tribe called quest is my favorite music along with others like Pharcyde, The Roots, De La Soul, Common. Older stuff and original stuff. I have loved rap since I was 12, but most of the new rap is regurgitated shit from 3 years ago. I hate the radio...

Please have a crane drop on my car so I have to buy a new CL-S. But wait till I'm not in the car. Thanks

All over the map...it depends on the time of day.

For my 35-40 minute morning commute, I always listen to classical music on a local NPR affiliate. Mojo oldfartski!

For the evening commute, usually instrumental guitar, ranging from Joe Satriani, Vinnie Moore, and Steve Vai all the way to Acoustic Alchemy. Unfortunately the heavier instrumental rock guitar stuff just doesn't sound quite up to par on the stock Bose sound system in my CL-S, so it's not getting as much playing time as it used to in my old P.O.S. Ford Probe.

I've recently added some new Jazz and Blues to my CD collection, so that's what's getting the most airplay. It seems to sound great on the Bose as well.

Here's one of my favorites, a funky-bluesy tune featuring a Hammond organ:

Check it. Got ya Cont. Gospel ala Kirk Franklin, BeBe Winans, then we switch to old school RUN-DMC (tougher than leather), then to Chante' Moore (all four just not at once) then there's Christina in #4, got a good voice, just tries too hard, Best of Earth Wind and Fire in #5, and my own compilations (from Bonnie Raitt to Queen Penn (Rap)) in #1 and #6. And I keep the old CD case on the floor of the driver's side CAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW!

I listen to the radio for slow driving. Talk radio makes me into a normal citizen. It's the CDs that cause all the speeding.

TECHNO TECHNO TECHNO

Warning: May cause heart stress and need for extreme velocities when playing

I highly recommend a track called "Fields of Love", i don't know who composed it.
