Drivers Seat Lumbar

I have a question and a problem with the Lumbar support in my seat. 1st the problem, i like to keep the lumbar support fully pushed out into my back, but after like 15 mins it feels like it retracts. if i pick my lower back of the seat the lumbar come back out but then feels like it retracts again when my back hits it.

It feels as though its just an air bag or somehting that in the back of the seat, what exactly is the mechinisim that aucura uses?

Anyone else notice this about thier CLS?

Mine didn't seem to retract at first but not it seems like its getting weaker. I squeaks when i do a decent turn too. I don't think acura uses an Air bag. My friends cobra does and you can hear the pump/air release. Acura probably uses a flexible peice of metal or plastic that just flexes forward when you move the handle.

I beleive it is a peice of plastic

Mine pops everytime I lean forward, which is very annoying

It is a small bendable plate in the seat back .If it won;t stay put the seat back needs to be replaced .

Jens i was hopping you would post your thoughts. after extended driving you can feel it getting weaker and weaker but when you list you back off the seat it goes back to the way ti should. i can also feel it soften up under hard acceleration

Well I have seen them not stay put to the desired setting .Or not work at all but I have not seen them get weak and then return .That sounds more like a perception thing .But if it is a cause for concern have the dealer look things over and see if maybe the mechanism is faulty
