Got mine covered under warranty. They replaced the armrest piece. They do not need to replace the entire door panel. The armrest is about $70. The door panel comes off easily. Would be a simple DIY.

yes it would, but what is it doing? say you have your door open and you pull the armrest does it just pull towards you or is t actually like falling off/apart?
because if its just pulling in and out, its just a clip that probably came out and you can like punch it to get it back in.

yep, the armrest is actually screwed into the door and screwed to the back of the door panel. no clips hold it on.

My car has that same problem.
I just noticed it a few days ago.
Might be just a loose screw or something

This is an EASY fix.

Remove your door panal - and place it on a table flipped over (to show the underside)

There is no screw holding this section in. All you need to do is use a little crazy glue and hold that section in for about 20 seconds.

I was very upset as well - as this same issue of the panal coming loose happened to my car. I took it off and it became clear as day what needed to be done.

One of the easier fixes in our CL's

I've got the same issue, heck alot of us have the same issue. Mine's probably worst then the pic, but I don't sweat it... One of these days when I have the door panel off for another reason, I'll get to it... It's purely cosmetic.

Mine was worse. The above post explains what I did to fix this... There is a screw/clip on the rear of this area, but for some reason - mine was loose and not fixable. I decided to crazy glue it from the inside and hold the outside (the loose section in) for about 20 sec... it is now fixed and you would never know that there was an earlier issue.

It sounds like some of yours may be a lot worse than mine was, so this might not work for you, but I just dropped a couple of drops of super glue into where I could see it was starting to come apart and it's holding strong. I didn't need to take the panel off like some people are suggesting.

Take the door panal off. Takes about 5 minutes. You will get a nice, professional looking fix.
