Agreed that ones posts can be tiresome at times, this might a good question. I mean, he might be referring to rust issues in the future. Well, thats what i thought when i read this. Most of you may not think about it, but some of us live in harsh winters, me in Toronto, which the damn winters and the salted roadways kill our cars. With the trim the salt dust can be trapped and cause for advance corrossion. But agreed, if he was referring to cosmetics, then

He lives in California, somewhere in the Bay Area. There is no snow here.

Seriously man, you have to start posting some things with more substance, not just one sentence questions.

i think u should get an APR billet aluminum pedestal wing, match it up with some CF canards, and then to top it all off just get some APC seats and some ebay wheels. that'll definately set it off.

The CLS doesn't have fender trim. The only door trim is the silver colored stuff around the windows & that you can't take off.

Well the thing is, it's your car. We're not the one's that are going to be driving it/seeing it everyday. You should do what you think looks good and what you think would be good for your car. It's completely up to your taste. In the end, I think you'd me happier that way. Also, a few of the tings you've posted on have been covered before, so you should search the forums to see if your questions have been answered before or not.

actually it's proven that because are cars handle so well on the auto-x track the aluminum pedestal wing should provide JUST about enough downforce. Some people opt for the 3-layer adjustable wing available at your local Pep Boys, but I think the two-layer is sufficient.

As for HP gains, I'm sure the canards add about 5-10hp because it helps create better airflow on the fenders for your car and the APC seats help so you won't be jumping out of your seat allowing you to floor the pedal just THAT much harder.

as for the ebay wheels, wrap those bad boys on slicks and you're good to go.

all in all, a total of 32hp comparable to CT headers.

why are you trying to mislead him with your claims, that combo is only good for 20-25hp max...

but despite the 7hp difference baylove, i still think you should go for it

you're on a variable load dyno. my inertial dyno sheet is BY FAR more accurate.

Gaylove - it's 32hp. trust me.

This wing provides the necessary downforce. Maybe we can adapt it to our CLs?
