Wow, looks like that engine splugged internally. What is this talk about revving to 13,000 rpm's?

OUCH. That happened to a person I know in an RSX-S. Misshifted and blew the engine. sucks.

basically i missed a shift @ the top of 3rd gear and put it into 2nd instead of 4th. this caused a valve to drop into the cylinder and then it collided with a piston spinning at about 12,000 rpm.
He makes it sound sooooo easy.

At least the guy is ok. My dad knew a guy that did that in a old flatbed pickup, but not only did it blow the engine, it blew the tranny which sent second gear flying through the firewall and right into his shin.

By the way would insurance cover that, it was an accident.

No. They would blame him for racing...why else would you attempt to powershift into 4th? That's what he was doing...he was trying to powershift into 4th but went into 2nd...I bet he had a short shifter too..
