Don't downshift to 2nd from the top of 3rd on your B16.

basically i missed a shift @ the top of 3rd gear and put it into 2nd instead of 4th. this caused a valve to drop into the cylinder and then it collided with a piston spinning at about 12,000 rpm.

At least the guy is ok. My dad knew a guy that did that in a old flatbed pickup, but not only did it blow the engine, it blew the tranny which sent second gear flying through the firewall and right into his shin.
By the way would insurance cover that, it was an accident.
