other than aesthetic reasons and my heartache, is there any other reason I should replace/repair a scratched rim?

thanks

Being the treasurer of this esteemed club, I must insist that you pay me the $500 initiation fee.

I am not planning to repair my rims because I hope to eventually buy new rims...Racinghart C5s maybe. Besides, either way, scratched rim or not, you'll still have a CL-S. It's not like someone will be admiring your car, and when they see your scratched rim, exclaim "OH no!! That's no CL-S! It has scratched rims!!"

Unless you have money to burn, I wouldn't suggest getting the rim repaired.

How large is the scratch? If it is a small one, forget it. But if you grinded the rim like me, thats a whole other story...I still wouldn't repair it though.
