sounds good to me. definately has a deep v8 rumble. it sounds more like a camaro or vette than a MB.

certainly doesn't have a civic w/ a fart can sound.

When I drove my friends AMG CLK 55 Convertible I hammered it right as one of the other guys from work was waliking down the sidewalk. He called my friend on his cell phone to tell him how badass it sounds so I think there are some Benzes with a bit of a rumble. Loud at cruise or light throttle would be a little out of character though.

the Eisenmann exhaust comes in 3 levels soft, high sport and race which is what I have now. The race exhaust was highly recommended by everybody who has it and Eisenmann sales person .

The exhaust sounds great but it sounds like nothing on the road that Ive heard. The funniest thing is just going 30-40 mph down the street you literally see parents grapping their children like a madman is driving

this is the first time I drove a V8 in a long time and I didnt think the exhaust would sound so mean. Almost to the point that if you heard the car coming down the street you would never quess it was a Benz

Yeah a clip from the outside would be cool .. does it drone at highway speed? No doubt the exhaust sounds great, mean as hell .. but I dont know to me it does seem a little out of place on a benz. Sounds to me like the way the new GTO should sound or something.
