I don't see how thats even possible. Never heard of a camshaft that can retard themselves. They are in a fixed position locked by the timming belt.

I am going to run this unit if the engine does not time/retard the cams its self.

If not or the car does not need it for n20 dyno then i will just stick with the neo.

With I-VTEC the cams can advance themselves within a certain degree spread. Technically they can't retard themselves but its essentially the same thing. Many car manafacturers have set-ups with variable valve timing where the camshafts are advanced. Even the system in our cars advances the timing of the cars by locking in a different camshaft lobe although it is not really variable.

Woh, Timming retard (As in ignition time) is totaly different. If thats what your talking about then yes our cars will retard the timming if needed. That has nothing to do with the cams though.

Ohh ok ok. Yeah I am talking about ignition timing then. Here is the full story. The shop where i got my car dynoed at told me if I want to get a new tune for n20 that I would have to get a new computer that not only changes air/fuel ratios, but also does ignition timing. But if you are saying that our cars automatically timing themselves then i should just go in there with my neo that i already have installed and tell them to give me a map for n20 right? What do you think about fuel pump and fuel psi regulator for this tune? Do i need it? The shop also told me to get bigger injectors, but when i called the people for injectors they told me i dont need them what so ever.
