It does fit. You can actually pick up the body colored trim ring for less than $100 from the dealership.
Speaking of grilles, I'm thinking of doing mesh behind the grille, in the inserts? anybody tried this?

Too bad you don't have a black CL.
For three bucks I primed and painted my grill gloss black and even the tech that works on my car couldn't tell it wasn't factory until he got way up close to it. I think what I am going to do next is lightly go over it with the factory touch up paint just to get a litle metallic in it--although this probably isn't even necessary.
From the factory there are three different parts they reccommend you order and they total more than 100$--I believe it's the outer plate, the inner part under the emblem and the gasket and inner molding. Aside from that, I think they charge like 40$ for that POS plastic A symbol!
