Dodge Stealth R/t
didnt know these things were fast.. haha. was trying to keep up with one but could not.... damn turbos.. haha.. then i just saw it at some site they do high 13s stock..so no wonder...i dont feel so bad anymore..same thing with a early 90s 5.0 stang ..with wide ass tires in the back.. could not keep up..hahah..
Another race was on the weekend .. raced a acura 1.6el with a H22A swap..he got headers/exhaust/intake/jdm ecu... i thought i was gonna lose..but surprisingly i won.. from 1-2 is about even he was at my door.. by beginning of third i started pulling.. slowly by surely..shut it down after 140-150kmh..was a friend of a friend..so it was allll good.. nice car he had tho.. be has BLITZ rims..
but gotta admit this automatic shit is starting to get to me.. i hate the delay when u go WOT. wish i had the 6spd...

hey quickcls
tell me about your 5.0 that was only a 15.7 sec car, an auto vert maybe?
stock lx 5.0 5spd were high 14sec cars in the hands of car magazines.
running high octane, advancing the timing, a timing gun, and a wrench is all you need for this, removing the silencer and you're deep into the 14s, assuming you could drive of course.
any self respecing 5.0 out there, with simply k&n filter, a little timing dialed in and a cat back or just mufflers (we all know they have exahausts on them) should be running a 14.5 or better in even an average driver's hands.
There's plenty at the track every time i've ever been there, they're easy to launch and have great off the line power, however in stock trim they run out of breathing up top pretty quick, maybe that's why them came with 85 mph speedos! the early years of course.
that lightweight notch can really fly, and a GT is just a few ticks back.
