Which do you prefer for your CL....Chevron, Shell, 76, or other?
#43
Umm; you folks are aware that gas is a commodity? And the only difference between any of the majors is the small amount of additives? Heck, at the fueling terminals that the trucks pull up to, I sh*t you not, there is a dial that allows the operator to choose whether to fill up with 76 or ExxonMobil or Chevron or Sunoco, with the only difference being the additive packages. Which have very little differences between themselves anyway.
If folks convince themselves that one brand works better in their car than another brand, more power to them. But the only possible explanation for that would be if the additive package (a miniscule percentage of the fuel by weight) from one brand somehow reacts negatively with your particular engine.
Find a station from one of the majors that gets alot of traffic so the gas doesn't get stale, and you'll be fine no matter what brand you prefer.
