Do cl series and tl series has the tracking device if they are stolen?and....
hello this is my first post
i just got a 2001 acura cls.. my friend told me that cl series and tl series has the tracking device if they are stolen (especially canada <vancouver,BC> cl series and tl series) and insurance company or police will track it down?is that so??that means our cl series and tls are unstealable kind of feel safe and happy now..but not sure if that is true??

yes and no (more no). What your are directly refering to is LoJack and that is not put on by the factory, but rather the dealer/individual through loJack. The 2003 TL and CL with navi have onstar which in a way be used as a tracking device, but can easily be tampered with. A thief would know it has Onstar and immediatly disable it. Since your car is a 2001, u don't have onstar

Where is my super sauce?
Check out http://www.lojack.com for information.
Lo/Jack is currently not available in Canada. Canada is listed as a country that is licensed for Lo/Jack, so it might be coming to you in a few years.

I have never knew anyone with lojack that found their car or found it in 1 piece. I think its a waste of money, unless they cnat find ur car, which they'll pay u back the money u spent for the lojack, if they find the car in pieces, u still dont get the money back cause they "found" the car

I think that Lo/Jack is a good product. The start-up/installation cost is not insignificant, but no money is required to maintain it. Some insurance companies give small discounts for proof of installation. It also comes with a significant money promise (up to $5000, significantly more then the cost of the Lo/Jack) if you don't get your car back.
