I just removed my fluid reservoir and the lines. I left the nozzles on tho. It seems like that black plastic cover is easy to break or damage when trying to remove.

Make sure you buy new nozzles. If you haven't tried CLR, do so! This is the product that was initially only available on TV but has made its way to places like WalMart and is great at removing calcium deposits from small lines, nozzles and orifices. Two out of three usually are taken care of simply by doing this. But don't expect immediate results. Use it a few times per day for 1-2 weeks. If there's no improvement or fix, move on...

Agreed....if the CLR does not work.

odds are it's plugged with a lil grain of sand/debris. and that just plugs the nozzle right up. I never tried clr or any product like that for that scenario and i have it, never even thought to attempt it cause i always thought it was something solid that;s plugged it up. vs calcium/mineral buildup.

we'll see if it works.

if u wanna save it 100%.. remove it from the car. leave it in the clr and then use compressed air and blow through it backwards. i cannot see any reason why that isn't a sure thing

I had the same problem with mine, I just tool off the nozzle and soaked it in some gasoline, then just blew air through it. Works like a charm now.

Although calium buildup can/does occur while using the premixed washer fluid concentrate, seems to be MUCH worse when the reservoir is filled with water only or low washer fluid concentration. This, of course, would be from obvious reasons.

Did it yesterday , soaked the nozzle in clr for about 15 mins, took a spray bottle with water and forced water each way in the nozzle . Put back on and boom presto fluid out of both . Only issue was the screw holding it to the hood stripped, but I fixed that as well .

Why remove it? Pour a small amount right into the reservoir.

My driver side stopped working, took it apart to see what the issue was... the little one-way valve failed (and broke). Used duct tape in the mean time and works, have a new one-way valve in the car, just need to find the time to replace it. Was about $5...

When I bought my CL back in march, the driver side was screwy and seemed to have very low pressure. I just ran about a gallon of RainX through mine and it seemed to clear it up. Another 2 gallons later (and a 6000 km road-trip) and it still works good as new.

Persistence is another solution to this problem, it worked for me, but no guarantees for you or anyone else...

For the nozzles that are extremely calcified, that's the logical solution. And by "extremely", I mean the nozzle is only allowing a dribble or nothing at all. Cases in which the nozzle is not spraying in its full range or if you just want to maintain its internal cleanliness, adding the CLR to the reservoir is acceptable. Either way, the stuff works.

Oh and one more thing, I don't recommend using this in conjunction with washer fluid. I've never done this but mixing chemicals/solutions is never recommended EVER. Many would be suprised what mixing a few common, household chemicals could do and what danger they could pose. Just thought if throw that in there...

Mine used to be really weak. I pulled the lines out and turn out that there was some crud/dirt in there and just blew it out.
