DIY Brake Experts... Please help...

I've replaced my front brakes a few weeks ago and it stops great! I've gotten new OEM discs and pads, but since the installation (I did it myself and was very easy) I've noticed that right at the point where the pads grip (but the car is still moving) there's a HUGE wailing/friction sound that resonates all over the place. It's not a high-pitced squeak, but a deep low buzz... a sound that my old '94 Civic used to make but I simply dismissed because the car was old... Anyone have any insight on this? I'm somewhat mechanically-minded... so I'd like to see if I can remedy this myself before paying someone to fix my problem...

Any help would be awesome...

Did you use anti-squeal compound in the pad clips? Perhaps you didn't tighten something down?

Also wondering if perhaps your rotors are warped somewhat causing the pads to wear "funny" until the contact points wear down?
