. I do hope your Comptech's never warp. But I've heard of many warpage stories where the common element was cross-drilled rotors. Even AEM is switching to slotted rotors in their Big Rotor Kit. The current ones are cross-drilled and slotted but the new ones in '03 are to be slotted only. And I've heard of a few cases of AEM big rotors getting warped.
Did you notice on the brim (along the ventilation vanes on the rotor) a Brembo name stamped on there? I'm wondering whether Comptech is selling rebadged PowerStop rotors.

Well hopefully by the time i wear these out, or they warp, there will be a more affordable big brake kit available to purchase. I'll check the rotors to see if there is any mention of Brembo, but i don't think so.

It comes down to this...if you want better stopping...which slotted/dimpled/cross-drilled rotors provide....get them....at $75/piece, get all 4 and your some new rims that show off your rotors...and you'll be very happy with your investment. I mean to some people (me included) think its worth it to have a car thats subtly different from the everyday CL...and those rotors do make a diff....not like the Brembos...but hey, not everyone has $2k to spend on brakes...and then another $1k (at least) for 18s to fit them.
