Difference in Icebox and AEM Dynos

Most ppl who have their cars dyno'd with the AEM originally already had it on there. So I figure they drive it to the DYNO and the aluminum gets all hot and whatnot.

Surely you're going to dyno lower after you take the time to cool the engine down and put in a non-hot plastic icebox.

What do you guys think?

I apologize if this topic has already been beaten to death.

why care about the cold aluminum when you first start the car, i care about the power i make when i can get on it, and thats when the car is warmed up.

bigman: I was thinking about the Icebox also having to be run around for a little while to heat up as much as it would be under normal driving. The difference is one has a coldd and clean filter while the other does not.
