[DWI]

I've tricked the tranny. The other day it had been raining pretty hard and there was standing water on the road. There were no other cars so I said what the hell turn VSA off and at the next light punched it like hell. Well the front wheels must have hydroplaned as best as I can fingure because I've never seen the tach fly up to redline that fast. But, when it got to red line the tranny would upshift it kept bouncing off the rev limiter until the tires caught the road and DAMN you should hear the tires hit the road redlining in first spinning like they should be going 45 mph. My question is why didn't the tranny want to upshift?

It might have been bad for the engine (rev limter) but since under normal conditions flooring results in a 1-2 shitf at about 6800 RPM there wasn't much more stress on the tranny just for a longer amount of time. 6 spd swap is there even such a thing a 6 spd that will fit?
